Web only: Conservatives have inserted a provision in the omnibus
appropriations bill that bars federal, state or local agencies from using
financial coercion to pressure health care providers to perform abortion
services or referrals.

According to other, non-Reich wing sources, the statute allows hospitals or
doctors to refuse to perform abortions. It said nothing about the states
using financial coercion.
There is ONE HELL OF A DIFFERENCE between a woman's right to chose - and a
doctor or hospital refusing to perform a medical procedure.

Boy Scouts reassured on military links
