this weekend.

I'll admit I support some of the policies he advocates (except for the
"faith <spit> based" crap), but the last thing this country needs is
*two* theocratic political parties..

I had hope for Obama, although it was seriously diminished by his refusal
to support the Democratic candidate in the Connecticut Senate race. That
speech, though, destroyed whatever respect for the man I might have had
left.
I thought the _Republican_ party was the party of religious idiots.
Unfortunately it looks like there are enough idiots for both parties.

Sorry, the guy's a light-weight.
We went and listened.
He offers platitudes without substance.
For example, he says we will work together to solve health care issues
but doesn't say what, if any, his ideas are on HOW to ACTUALLY solve
health care issues.
He reminds me of Wesley Clark, who ran last time around, and talked in
the same generalities.
