In 2004, he voted against legislation drafted to protect homeowners from
prosecution in cases where they used a firearm to halt a home invasion.

Only a liberal loser would consider supporting this madness

First off, you need to look at other sites besides the LIBERAL
Washington Compost, who like all liberal sites, tends to "whoops we
forgot somehow to mention the whole story and all details" when they
report. (AKA shield Obama as much as possible)

Here's one to get you started:

Obama Misfires On Concealed Carry

Gun Control: Barack Obama says he won't take folks' guns away as long
as they're hunters. But when the hunted are his constituents, well,
that's different: He opposes concealed carry and the right to
self-defense.

No sir, your are **blatantly wrong**. The majority of Americans
understand the right of self-defense as outlined on our constitution.
They understand the importance of upholding this right, and most
importantly, they understand that all the banning and laws in the
world will not stop the criminals from getting them. And then where
does that leave innocent people? Waiting for the cops to
arrive-hopefully in time? Don't bet on it.

This is gonna come as a shock to your small liberal, drug-damaged mind
(might want to sit down) but "criminals don't follow the law"! I
know-crazy ain't it? They will ALWAYS have guns-and if they are about
to commit a GUN CRIME (murder, robbery, whatever) THEY DON'T CARE
ABOUT THE FACT THAT HAVING THE GUN MAY BE ILLEGAL-the gun crime they
are about to commit is just a tiny bit more severe, don't you think?
Ya got that? I have yet to hear of a murderer or robber that said to
himself:

"Wait, I could shoot that person, but I'd get in trouble for having a
gun, because guns are illegal."

Is any of this sinking into to your LSD/Pot laden brain yet?

"But what about little Johnny who takes his father's gun and shoots
himself or someone else-maybe even sneaks out of the house late at
night to do it"?

SIMPLE-BE A RESPONSIBLE F****** PARENT! Lock up the gun, get an alarm
system so the kids cant "sneak" out. And if all else fails, you
prosecute the parents for carelessness, neglect, etc. You don't punish
all of society for the actions of a small percentage.

IBD an ultra-conservative rag. There's one. Then there's Obama's
congressional record...hmmmm who to believe?

Please show us what WAPO left out of Obama's voting record, skippy.

The article's a piece of shit BTW. The author makes a big leap from carrying
concealed weapons to protecting one's family, as if without the former, you
can't have the latter.

It's just another ridiculous and hysterical assertion by some nervous,
nattering rightwing pussy.

Obama has never voted for anything except killing babies, scooter. He
has no congressional record except 130 votes of "Present."
